Appointments

To make an appointment, please:

Routine Appointments

The practice uses an appointment system. Patients may express a preference to see a particular practitioner subject to availability, by informing reception staff.

Routine appointments are 10 minutes long.

Urgent Appointments

Call 0161 881 4545 and you will be added to the Telephone Triage list to speak to an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Reception will ask you some questions to help them to help you when they call.

Telephone Advice

If you need to speak to a clinician for urgent medical advice the reception staff will take a message and the duty GP or Advanced Practitioner will call back.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

Training Practice

Please note, this practice participates in the training of medical undergraduates from the University of Manchester.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Evening & Weekend Appointments

Working in collaboration with Manchester Extended Access, we are pleased to offer access to GP, nurse and HCA appointments during the evenings and at the weekends.

To book appointments simply ask the receptionist who will arrange an appointment at a time and location that suits you best. This will not be at your usual practice, but the GP or Health Care Professional who sees you will have access to your medical record and can issue prescriptions if required and deal with other matters appropriately should the need arise.
