COVID-19 safety restrictions – no change

You will be aware that the national COVID-19 safety restrictions changed on 19 July 2021.

As a healthcare setting with significant numbers of people attending our surgery building, we must prioritise the safety of our patients, community and staff. We will maintain our existing infection control measures and ask all patients who are invited to attend the building to wear a mask or face covering. By necessity we will have ill and vulnerable people in our premises, and we must ensure that they are protected as best as possible. We will review this policy when the number of COVID infections in our local community starts to fall.

We will continue to see people in person wherever clinically necessary, including for routine health checks and screening, as we have throughout the last year and a half. We will continue to use our website contact forms and ask you, where possible, to initiate all contact through the website. Our reception desk and phone lines remain open and accessible for when it is not possible to contact us online.
