Dr Williams would like to make the following announcement:
Dear Patients,
I joined this surgery as a young doctor and new mother in 1991 and have worked here ever since.
I have made many good friends amongst the patients and have had some wonderful experiences. However it is time for me to cut back and hand over the running of the practice to my younger colleagues.
From July 2017 I will only be working one day a week.
The practice will use the saving from my salary to recruit other doctors and there will be the same number of appointments in total, just that my availability will be less.
Times moves on and change is inevitable. None of us can continue working at the same pace, in the same job for ever.
I am hoping that the more relaxed pace will keep me enthusiastic about being part of this long established Practice until such time as I finally retire in the future.
